Analyzing Mathematics Teaching in a P-8 African American Charter School

I have been inspired by the work Dr. Roni Ellington at Morgan State University has done on the success of African-American students in mathematics.  With that inspiration, combined with my personal experience as an African-American student at a private college prep school in Golden Valley, Minnesota and my passion for service learning, I’m excited to embark on this project.
