Congratulations to Patrick Curoe for his successful workshop at the PFLAG Cultivating Respect conference.  Despite technical difficulties, Patrick and his co-presenters, Justin Anderson from OutFront Minnesota and Brad Kohl from the Breck Advanced Mathematics Research Program conveyed new information about the state of GLBT bullying in Minnesota to around twenty interested participants.  Patrick was one of only sixteen people chosen to present at this event and has the distinction of becoming the first math research student to give a workshop at a conference.

PFLAG photo unavailable due to Mr Kohl making a mad dash from the PFLAG conference to the airport to get to San Francisco for the Creating Balance in an Unjust World Math and Social Justice conference.
