Math Research was proud to be invited to participate in the 25th Annual National Service-Learning Conference in Washington, D.C.

In addition to being in the city during the famous cherry blossom season, students Parker Montgomery, Amanda Zeidner, and Christopher Walker presented a 90-minute workshop on the math research program.  During the Service-Learning Showcase, they shared their individual projects in a more informal way.  Christopher Walker has been invited to co-write a State Farm Youth Advisory Board grant with his research client, El Sistema Minnesota (ACME).  Parker Montgomery and Maya Maddaus' Spectrum of Service has reached new audiences and organizations, and Amanda Zeidner's My Name is Not "Those People" event served as an inspirational model for visitors from Australia.  Other opportunities are in the works as well.  Congratulations!
